Are my photos uploaded to the cloud?

When AI classification is enabled, your photos are securely sent to our AI service for analysis. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored. You can disable AI classification in Settings if you prefer fully on-device processing (with reduced accuracy).

What happens when I "Move to CamSpam"?

Photos moved to CamSpam are copied to the app's private storage and then removed from your Camera Roll. This keeps your Camera Roll clean while preserving the photos in CamSpam until they auto-delete based on your chosen schedule.

Can I recover deleted photos?

Photos deleted through "Delete Permanently" cannot be recovered by CamSpam. However, if you have iCloud Photo Library enabled, recently deleted photos may be recoverable from the "Recently Deleted" album in the Photos app for up to 30 days.

What is auto-delete?

When you move photos to CamSpam, you can set an auto-delete timer (1 day, 7 days, 30 days, etc.). After this period, the photos are automatically removed. This is perfect for temporary items like receipts you only need briefly.

Why did the AI misclassify a photo?

AI classification is highly accurate but not perfect. Always review suggested photos before deleting. If you notice consistent issues, please contact us so we can improve the system.

How do I upgrade to CamSpam Max?

Go to Settings and tap on "CamSpam Max" to view subscription options. Max subscribers get unlimited scanning, longer retention periods, and priority support.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone to manage or cancel your CamSpam subscription.
